PREPARATION
1.
If using wooden skewers, soak these for at least 10 minutes prior. Otherwise, use metal skewers.
2.
Heat the grill to medium-high. If using a grill pan, heat over medium-high heat.
3.
Rinse the asparagus and cut into 2-3 inch pieces. Start with a piece of asparagus and alternate between asparagus and bacon.
4.
Repeat with the remaining bacon and asparagus on each skewer.
5.
Place on the grill for about 6-10 minutes.
6.
Flip over and continue to sear for another 6-10 minutes on the other side.
NOTES, TIPS, TRICKS, HINTS, ETC:
Watch for flare ups, especially if your bacon is especially fatty. Pull any skewers that are flaring up and move to another location on the grill.
