PREPARATION
PREPARING THE COUSCOUS
1.
In a large bowl, place the uncooked couscous, season with salt and pour the 1 ½ cups of boiling water.
2.
Stir, cover, and set aside.
PREPARING THE RAISINS
3.
In a skillet, heat the oil on medium heat.
4.
Saute the raisins. Dissolve the sugar in 2 tablespoons of water and pour over mixture.
5.
Stir constantly, for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
ASSEMBLING
6.
Fluff the couscous and transfer to a bowl.
7.
Add the raisins and pomegranate seeds and mix well.
