PREPARATION
HOW TO PREPARE THE ARTICHOKE CAKES
1.
Combine all of the ingredients.
2.
Preheat a skillet on medium high heat. Add 1 Tbsp of oil to the hot pan.
3.
Create the patties (an ice cream scoop works well to help keep them consistent in size), pressing firmly and then forming into shape.
4.
Cook for 4-5 minutes. It's important not to flip until they are golden on the first side. They will still be fragile at this point, so take care when turning.
5.
Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
6.
Drain on paper towel. They will set up as they cool.
7.
Serve with the prepared tartar sauce.
NOTES, TIPS, TRICKS, HINTS, ETC:
These go great with tartar sauce for dipping.
