PREPARATION
Combining the Ingredients
1.
Preheat the oven to 375 F. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and ground pepper. Mix well.
2.
Dice the onion and finely chop the green onion and add to the dry ingredients. Follow with the cheese, milk, egg, and melted butter.
Baking the Muffins

Line a muffin tin with liners or brush the slots with olive oil to avoid muffins sticking.
4.
Spoon muffin mix into each muffin slot, filling 3/4 full.
5.
Bake at 375° for 22 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pans immediately, and serve warm.
