PREPARATION
Grilling the Peaches
1.
If using an outdoor grill, heat the grill to high. If using a cast iron grill pan, heat it over high heat on the stove. Brush grill with any high heat oil so peaches don't stick.
2.
Slice the peaches and place directly on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
Assembling the Sandwich
3.
Toast the 4 slices of wheat bread to desired crispness.
4.
Spread 2 tbsp of cream cheese on each slice of toasted bread.
5.
Sprinkle pecans and thyme over cream cheese.
6.
Top with sliced peaches and serve.
