PREPARATION
SLIDER PREPARATION
1.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
2.
Cook the ground beef and remove the liquid fat. Add in the taco seasoning along with 2/3rd cup of water. Reduce the heat to low and allow this to thicken.
3.
Warm up the refried beans on the stove.
4.
Slice your slider rolls in half, so there's a top half and a bottom half. Grate your cheddar cheese, chop your tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
MAKING THE SLIDERS
5.
Flip the top half of the slider rolls upside down on a baking rack, so the cut side is up. Place the bottom half of the rolls next to the top on the rack.
6.
On the bottom half of the slider buns, use a butter knife to apply a thin-ish layer of refried beans to the entire layer.
7.
Top this with taco mix (ground beef and taco seasoning).
8.
Spread out the shredded cheddar cheese on the top half of the slider buns.
9.
Place the rack into the oven for 10 minutes. Then, remove it long enough to flip the top half of the slider buns onto the bottom half. Then bake for 5 more minutes.
TO SERVE
10.
Separate the sliders with a bread knife. Serve one slider with a TBSP of sour cream, a TSBP of guacamole, some chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and onions, and a few tortilla chips.
