PREPARATION
PREPARING THE FILLING
1.
Peel, core and cube the apple. Slice the beef of choice into strips. Dice the onion.
2.
In a large pan over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil.
3.
Once heated, add the apple, beef, onions, and raisins.
4.
Cook for ~15 minutes, or until apple begins to soften and onions have softened. Make sure beef is done to your liking.
ASSEMBLING THE SANDWICH
5.
*Optional* If you want a crispier sandwich, heat the oven to broil and brush each bread slice with olive oil and broil to desired level of crispness.
6.
Lay the bottoms of the bread face up and spoon the apple beef mixture onto the bread. Close the sandwich and serve warm.
