PREPARATION
1.
Heat the oven to broil.
PREPARING THE SLOPPY JOE

PREPARING THE ONION/BELL PEPPER
3.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the sliced onion and sliced bell pepper. Saute until softened, about 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
ASSEMBLING THE SANDWICH

Open each piece of baguette and spoon a few spoonfuls of the sloppy joe mixture.
5.
Top with a spoonful or two of the sautéed onions and bell peppers.
6.
Top with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
BROILING THE SANDWICH
7.
Place the sandwiches, open faced, into the broiler for 3-4 minutes to melt the cheese.
8.
Remove and serve immediately.
